Jes Brown
Jes B. brings years of athletic experience and a real passion for helping young athletes grow. A former college basketball player and cross-country runner, she’s spent her career coaching and training across a wide range of sports and age groups. With a degree in Exercise Science and a Coaching Certification—plus certifications in Sports Nutrition, Personal Training, and HIIT—Jes knows how to balance smart training with fun, effective workouts that get results. She’s run speed and agility sessions for AAU basketball teams, launched her own youth strength and conditioning program, and worked with athletes one-on-one and in small groups in sports like soccer, football, lacrosse, and hockey. Jes has also completed 11 half marathons, so she understands the importance of endurance, consistency, and mindset. At the Academy, she’s all about helping athletes feel strong, confident, and ready to take on whatever’s next.

Jay Toska
Jay comes from a background in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, bringing the discipline and focus of combat sports into his coaching. He holds a degree in Exercise Science and has experience working with athletes to build strength, endurance, and explosive power. Jay specializes in helping athletes push past limits—whether it’s improving performance, sharpening conditioning, or developing the kind of resilience that translates both on and off the field. His approach is all about combining smart, science-based training with the mindset of a fighter. Outside the gym, Jay stays active in martial arts and endurance training, always looking for new ways to grow as both an athlete and a coach.
